Medical Description
Bronchodilator inhaler containing beta2 agonist used in the treatment of asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and bronchospasm.
Indication & Usage
entolin Evohaler (salbutamol) is indicated for:
Relief of acute bronchospasm in asthma
Prevention and treatment of bronchospasm in chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD)
Prevention of exercise-induced bronchospasm

Dosage & Administration
Adults & children ≥4 years:
1–2 inhalations as needed, up to every 4–6 hours
Exercise-induced bronchospasm:
2 inhalations 15 minutes before exercise
Do not exceed recommended frequency
Shake well before use; use proper inhalation technique
Side Effects
Common:
Tremor
Nervousness
Headache
Palpitations
Muscle cramps
Less common / serious:
Tachycardia
Hypokalemia
Hyperglycemia
Paradoxical bronchospasm (rare)
Safety Advice
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to salbutamol or formulation components
Precautions
Excessive use indicates poor asthma control
Use caution in cardiovascular disease, hyperthyroidism, diabetes
Monitor potassium with high doses
Use with caution with other sympathomimetics
Storage
Store below 30°C
Protect from frost and direct sunlight
Pressurized container: do not puncture or burn
