Indication & Usage
Nasacort Treat nasal symptoms of allergic rhinitis nasal symptoms includes sneezing, itching and having blocked stuffy or runny nose.

"Dosage Adults and children (over 12 years )the usual starting dose is 2 sprays in each nostril each day, the dose lowered to 1 spray,
children )6-12 Years (the usual dose is 1 spray in each nostril each day, if symptoms don't go away increased to 2 sprays in each nostril, the dose is lowered again to 1 spray ,
children )2-5 Years(, the usual dose is 1 spray in each nostril each day, Don't use Nasacort AQ for more than 3 months in children under 12 Years.
Children under 2 years is not recommended for use.
Following first opening Nasacort AQ should be used 2 months for 120 spray pack ."
Side Effects
-Epistaxis, ulcerations, Candida albicans infection, nasal septal perforation, impaired
wound healingو Glaucoma and Cataracts and immunosuppression.
- Headache, cough, bronchitis, dyspepsia, rhinitis, pharyngitis, flu syndrome, and tooth disorder.
-Additional adverse reactions in pediatric patients: Reduction of growth velocity.
-In patients aged 2 to 5 years, the following adverse reactions have been observed (frequency ≥ 2%): Headache, pharyngolaryngeal pain, nasopharyngitis, excoriation, diarrhea, and upper abdominal pain.

Safety Advice
-Following first opening Nasacort AQ should be used within 1 month for the 30-spray pack or 2 months for 120 spray pack.
-Children under 2 years is not recommended for use.
-Children 4 to 12 years of age:
An improvement of symptoms usually becomes apparent within a few days after the start of
therapy. However symptomatic relief may not occur in some patients for as long as two weeks.NASACORT AQ should not be continued beyond three weeks in the absence of significant symptomatic improvement.
-Delayed wound healing: Avoid use in patients with recent nasal septal ulcers, nasal surgery, or nasal trauma until healing has occurred

Do not store above 25°C.
Pregnancy & Lactation
-The safety of NASACORT AQ in pregnancy has not been established. If used, the expected
benefits should be weighed against the potential hazard to the fetus, particularly during the first trimester of pregnancy.
-The use of NASACORT AQ in nursing mothers requires that the possible benefits of the drug be weighed against the potential hazards to the infant.
-Ask your physician or pharmacist before taking any medication during pregnancy or lactation.
