Active Ingredients
Magnesium GluconateMagnesium Oxide
Recommended Doctors
Dosage & Administration
Adults: 1 tablet once daily or as directed
Take after meals to reduce gastrointestinal upset
Swallow with a glass of water
Side Effects
Common:
Diarrhea (more common with magnesium oxide)
Abdominal discomfort
Nausea
Rare (with excessive intake):
Hypermagnesemia (weakness, hypotension, confusion)
Bradycardia

Drug Interactions
Tetracyclines & fluoroquinolones → reduced absorption (separate by ≥2–4 hours)
Bisphosphonates → reduced absorption
Levothyroxine → reduced absorption
Other magnesium-containing products → risk of excess
Pregnancy & Lactation
Pregnancy: Generally safe at recommended doses
Lactation: Safe; magnesium is normally present in breast milk
