Medical Description
For Certain Skin Conditions Applied topically twice daily
Indication & Usage
Kerella Lotion is indicated for the treatment of inflammatory, pruritic, and hyperkeratotic skin disorders responsive to topical corticosteroids, where excess scaling is present, such as:
Psoriasis
Seborrheic dermatitis
Chronic eczema
Lichen simplex
Other steroid-responsive dermatoses with scaling

Dosage & Administration
Apply a thin layer to the affected area 1–2 times daily
Rub gently until absorbed
For external use only
Avoid prolonged use unless directed by a physician
Side Effects
Local:
Burning or stinging sensation
Skin irritation or dryness
Redness
Peeling
With prolonged/excessive use:
Skin atrophy
Striae
Telangiectasia
Hypopigmentation
Secondary infection
Salicylate toxicity (rare, with large area use)

Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to salicylic acid, betamethasone, or formulation components
Viral, fungal, or bacterial skin infections without appropriate treatment
Acne vulgaris
Rosacea
Perioral dermatitis
Open wounds
Precautions
Avoid use on face, groin, and axilla unless prescribed
Avoid occlusive dressings
Use with caution in children (increased absorption)
Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes
Do not apply on large body areas

Store below 25°C
Protect from heat and light
Keep tightly closed
Drug Interactions
No significant systemic interactions with topical use
Increased risk of adverse effects when used with other topical corticosteroids or keratolytics over large areas
Pregnancy & Lactation
Pregnancy: Use only if benefit outweighs risk; avoid prolonged or extensive use
Lactation: Use with caution; avoid application on breast area before breastfeeding
