Medical Description
Treatment and prophylaxis of multiple conditions caused by thrombus formation
Dosage: Adults: Treatment: 5,000 units IV, 10,000-20,000 units 12 hourly SC
Prevention: 2 hours pre-operatively: 5,000 units SC, 5,000 units SC every 8-12 hours, for 7-10 days
