Medical Description
Vitamin used in the treatment of anemias due to folate deficiency, prevention of neural tube defects and used as a supplementation to reduce toxicity associated with antifolate chemotherapy.
Indication & Usage
This Medicine is most commonly used for low iron levels in women who are pregnant and for preventing blood infection (sepsis) in premature infants.
