Medical Description
Respiratory tract, skin infections: PO 500 mg once, then 250 mg/day for 4 days.
Children 6 mo and older 10 mg/kg once (maximum 500 mg), then 5 mg/kg/day for 4 days.
Pharyngitis, tonsillitis: PO Children older than 2 yr. 12 mg/kg/ day for 5 days
