Medical Description
Edema: PO Adults. 0.5-2 mg as a single dose in the morning. May repeat q4-5h.
IV, IM Adults, Elderly. 0.5-2 mg/dose; may repeat in 2-3 hr. Maximum: 10 mg/day.
Hypertension: PO Adults, Elderly. Initially, 0.5 mg/day. Range: 1-4 mg/day. Maximum: 5 mg/day.
