Medical Description
Buscopan 10 mg Tablets contains butylscopolaminium bromide.

Indication & Usage
"Buscopan 10 mg Tablets for Treatment of mild to moderate spasms of GIT and spastic abdominal complaints in IBS.
Buscopan Tablets use in adults & children from the age of 6."

Dosage & Administration
"Dosage adults & children above 6 :1-2 Tablets 3 times a day(single dose 10-20 , maximal daily dose 60 mg).
The sugar-coated Tablets should be swallowed with sufficient fluids; don't use Buscopan longer than 5 days without medical advice."
Side Effects
-Common: Drowsiness , dizziness, xerostomia , agitation , confusion, visual impairment , mydriasis pharyngitis.
-Less common: Decreased gastrointestinal motility, urinary retention, blurred vision.
Safety Advice
-Don't use Buscopan longer than 5 days without medical advice.
-Incase of over dose be ready to tell or show what was taken, how much and when it happened, and seek immediate medical attention. For additional information call us on 16676. Always tell your physician your detailed medical history.
Storage
Store at a room temperature not exceeding 30°C in cool and dry place.
Drug Interactions
-Alcohol (Ethyl): CNS Depressants may enhance the CNS depressant effect of Alcohol (Ethyl).
-Clozapine: Anticholinergic Agents may enhance the constipating effect of Clozapine.
-Gastrointestinal Agents (Prokinetic): Anticholinergic Agents may diminish the therapeutic effect of Gastrointestinal Agents (Prokinetic)
Pregnancy & Lactation
-Ask your physician or pharmacist before taking any medication during pregnancy.
-Not preferred for lactating women.
