Brufen 100 mg/5 ML Susp. 150 ML

Pain/Fever/Dysmenorrhea: 200-400 mg PO q4-6hr; not to exceed 1200 mg Inflammatory Disease: 400-800 mg PO q6-8hr; not to exceed 3200 mg/day Osteoarthritis, Rheumatoid Arthritis: 200-800mg PO q6-8hr; not to exceed 3200 mg/day

Take this medication by mouth, usually 3 to 4 times a day with a full glass of water (8 ounces or 240 milliliters), or as directed by your doctor. Do not lie down for at least 10 minutes after taking this drug. If stomach upset occurs while taking this medication, take it with food, milk, or an antacid.

High Blood Pressure Patients with high blood pressure are at an increased risk when using this medicine. Such patients may have an increased incidence of heart diseases. Blood pressure should be monitored closely when taking this medicine. Fluid Retention and Heart Failure Patients who retain water/fluid in their body or have a risk of heart failure are at an increased risk when using this medicine. This medicine should be used with precaution in patients with heart failure or fluid retention. Ulcers or Bleeding in Stomach Patients with a history of stomach ulcer or bleeding in the stomach and intestines are at an increased risk when using this medicine. This medicine should be started with the lowest effective dose for the shortest possible duration. Poor Functioning of the Kidneys Patients with kidney related health issues are at an increased risk when using this medicine. This medicine may reduce production of certain hormones and reduce the blood flow in kidneys. Advanced Stage Kidney Disease Patients with advanced kidney disease are at an increased risk when using this medicine. This medicine should not be used in patients with an advanced kidney disease.

The use of Brufen during pregnancy should only be when required. This medicine may harm an unborn baby by causing heart disease and high blood pressure.
