Medical Description
Bisolvon 8 mg tablets are a broncho- secretolytic (a medicine used to dissolve mucus in respiratory diseases with viscous mucus) .
Bisolvon tablets contain 8 mg bromhexine hydrochloride.
Indication & Usage
"Bisolvon tablets are used as mucus-dissolving treatment in acute and chronic diseases of the bronchi and lungs with viscous mucus.
For use in children from 6 years and adults"

Dosage & Administration
"The recommended Dosage Adults and adolescents over the age of 14 should take 1 to 2 tablets of Bisolvon tablets, Children and adolescents between the ages of 6 and 14 and patients weighing less than 50 kg should take 1 tablet of Bisolvon tablets 3 times a day.
The tablets are to be taken after meals with plenty of fluid. "
Side Effects
There have been reports of severe skin reactions associated with the administration of bromhexine hydrochloride. If you develop a skin rash (including lesions of the mucous
membranes such as mouth, throat, nose, eyes, genitals), stop using BISOLVON and contact your doctor immediately.
Safety Advice
-Do not take BISOLVON if You are allergic (hypersensitive) to bromhexine or any of the other ingredients of BISOLVON.
-Taken cautiously in case of stomach ulcer.

Drug Interactions
Inform your physician or pharmacist if you are taking antibiotics such as ampicillin,
amoxicillin, erythromycin or oxytetracycline.
Pregnancy & Lactation
Do not take BISOLVON if you are pregnant, likely to get pregnant or if you are breast-feeding.
