Antiallergic Ampoules for the treatment of allergic conditions.Avil injection solution is suitable for the treatment of severe hypersensitivity reactions and pruritus of varying origin. It reduces secretion in catarrhal disorders and eczema.

-Avil injection solution is administered to infants and children aged 6 months and up to 11 years by the intramuscular route. -The recommended dose may be repeated at 12- hourly intervals until the acute symptoms have subsided.

-Occasionally there maybe drowsiness, gastrointestinal complaints, dryness of mouth, palpitation, urinary retention or hypersensitivity reactions. -In isolated cases, higher dosage may produce hallucinations, restlessness or confusion; in small children, agitation. -In patients with narrow-angle glaucoma, a rise in intra-ocular pressure is possible, which makes ophthalmologic control necessary. -Even if used according to prescription, this preparation may reduce alertness to such an extent that the ability to cope with street traffic or operate machinery is impaired.

-Not to be used for children under 2 Years. -Not to be used in children under six years except under medical supervision. -Incase of over dose be ready to tell or show what was taken, how much and when it happened, and seek immediate medical attention. Store at temperature not exceeding 30°C.

-The effect of drugs which act on the central nervous system, e.g. tranquilizers, hypnotics and MAO inhibitors, may be potentiated. -The effect of alcohol may be potentiated.

-No available studies for use in pregnancy and lactation. Avil should be used only if strictly indicated, and after considering the benet/risk ratio for mother and child. -Ask your physician or pharmacist before taking any medication during pregnancy or lactation.
